PSD to AI Converter
Convert a Photoshop PSD into an Illustrator-compatible AI file.
Your file is uploaded only for the moment it takes to convert, then deleted from the server straight away. It is never stored, indexed, or shared.
What an AI File Actually Is
Modern .ai files are PDF documents with an Illustrator-specific header, which is why Illustrator can open a PDF and most PDF readers can open an .ai. This conversion produces exactly that: your PSD composite wrapped into a PDF-based AI container that Illustrator opens directly. Be clear on the limit — the artwork inside is raster, not editable vector paths. You get a file Illustrator can place, crop and build around, not one whose curves you can pull. For actual paths, trace it with our PSD to SVG tool instead.
Privacy Note
This conversion runs on our server. Your file is uploaded only for the seconds the conversion takes and is deleted immediately afterwards — it is never stored, indexed, or shared. Accepted input: PSD, PSB, up to 100 MB.

- Produces a genuine PDF-based AI file that Illustrator opens natively
